In plain language

Parlora reminders are event-driven email and SMS notifications connected to a studio booking. Recall workflows can also identify clients who may be due to return, while the studio controls messaging and timing.

Booking-linked

Messages use the appointment and client record already held in the system.

Email and SMS

Use email across plans and SMS where the plan and provider connection allow it.

Repeat-visit signals

Recall workflows help the team see who may be ready to book again.

01

A reliable notification queue

Reminder jobs move through queued, processing, sent or failed states so operations are observable. The system can retry safely instead of hiding a failed message inside a browser session.

02

Keep consent and tone with the studio

Notification channels should reflect the studio’s client consent, sender identity and service policies. Parlora keeps message configuration tenant-specific instead of using one customer’s identity for every business.

FAQ

Questions studios ask

Are SMS reminders included in Starter?

Starter includes the core booking workflow but SMS is a Pro entitlement. Provider usage fees may still apply.

Can the studio use its own sender identity?

Yes, once the sender domain or messaging provider is configured and verified for that studio or the platform.

Are reminders guaranteed to stop every no-show?

No. Reminders reduce forgotten appointments but cannot guarantee attendance. Deposits and clear policies may also be appropriate.

Make follow-up part of the booking workflow.

Start with confirmations and add the reminder channels your studio needs.
